Webmaster Vault (WV): When did you start your program? Can you give us a little insight into how it came into being?
Dee Cash ( DEE): In early 04 we did our first Beta of DeeCash. I was a hardcore movie gallery submitter and always wanted to have my own paysite. When I launched my first exclusive paysite (GOMC) I started getting requests from friends to promote it. At that time I really just wanted to keep the site in-house for my own promotion. However, as I started to go on with all the requests coming in and as submitting got tougher, I allowed slowly others to signup to promote it. Soon after that I launched a couple more paysites, opened a small office and started getting more affiliates.

WV: What did you do before you got into the adult internet business?
DEE: I sold used video games at the flea market during the weekends and online (on AOL) during the weekdays, I was about 12 or 13 years old at the time.

WV: How many people work for your program?
DEE: Currently on our affiliate programs we have a staff of about 80. We also own a call center and offshoring company which is more manpower intensive. Organization wide we have about 1000 employees.

WV: What part of the world are you located in?
DEE: All our check processing & accounting happens in Oregon, we have a sales office in Atlanta , GA and our main backend offices are in Manila, .

WV: How much of the content on your sites is exclusive to you’re your sites?
DEE: Almost 100% of our content is exclusive. We hardly deal with non-exclusive content anymore.

WV: You have a ton of sites, shooting and keeping up on the content needs and updates for these sites must be a huge undertaking. Can you give us a little insight as to how you handle it?
DEE: We have a fixed formula, depending on number of sales per day and webmaster demand for the niche that dictates how often the site gets exclusive updates. However, for retention when a member joins one site, they get access to the entire network and the entire network is updated at least a couple times a day.

WV: You are known for having some kick ass promos where you have huge pay per signup days and give away things like laptops. How has reaction to these been?
DEE: Our affiliates love them! For us, promos are a way to get affiliates to try out new sites just to show them how good the product is (ratios, conversions). So even if we lose a bit on the particular day due to the high payout, in the long run weve gained more affiliates that have seen the ratios for themselves.

WV: You have recently been acquiring other affiliate programs like Triple X Cash. Was doing these types of things something you had planned on perusing from the start or has it been a more organic part of your growth?
DEE: I would say an organic part of growth. We try to focus mainly on great brands and great products when we do acquisitions.

WV: Speaking of buying these new affiliate programs, when you do so do you take over operations, let them continue to operate on their own or is it a mix of the two?
DEE: This depends from program to program. But typically, when we take over, we plug it in to our workforce and take over everything including payouts, members area updates etc. There have been times where we also brought over the staff however.

WV: Any new projects coming down the pipe in the near future?
DEE: We have a lot planned for 08. This year we will be focusing on our content and product. I cannot disclose too much on upcoming projects, but with everyone’s support, I am confident they will do well.

WV: One last question. If you could give affiliates one piece of advice about how to make the most money with your program what would it be?
DEE: The advice will really depend affiliate to affiliate based on traffic source and promotion method. However, I would say contact one of our affiliate managers, theyve all been well trained on how to convert traffic the best. We work with a vast amount of knowledge and stats, hence we can definitely help optimize.
