04/18/2002: TopCash Removes Conversion Ratio Requirements
TopCash Removes Conversion Ratio Requirements
Click-to-sales conversion ratios are no longer a factor when you send traffic to TopCash sites. From the pay period starting on April 16th forward, webmasters will now be paid 2 cents per click for exit/404 traffic, 4 cents per click for blind link traffic, and 6 cents per banner click, regardless of how well the traffic converts into sales.
"Concerns about webmaster fraud, and cheating by use of hitbots or fraudulent signups were the primary reasons for the conversion ratio requirements in the first place," says TopCash program manager Quentin Boyer. "Recently installed software and new fraud scan techniques have enabled us to catch cheaters more effectively, so we've decided to drop the ratios, altogether."
In addition to dropping the minimum conversion ratio requirement, TopCash has added 9 new sites for webmasters to promote, bringing the total number of TopCash sites to 25.
