January 30, 2006—San Francisco based Raging Stallion Studios was one of the top production companies nominated for the GayVN Awards---the porn Oscars®. Winners will be chosen at the Award Show in early March. Raging Stallion's top film, Arabesque, garnered a record number of nominations, including recognition for Best Picture, Best Director (Chris Ward), Best Music (JD Slater), Best Sex Scene, Best Group Scene, Best Packaging, Best Videography, and Best Editing. Arabesque also shared a nomination with The Red and The Black for Best All Sex Video. Passport to Paradise, Raging Stallion's big hit from the spring release season, also picked up numerous nominations, including Best Three Way, Best Latin Film, and Best Solo. The Red And The Black earned a nod as Best Leather Movie. Hole Sweet Hole, a fisting film, was nominated in the category of Best Specialty--Extreme, and Surf Shack from Pistol Media was nominated as Best Foreign Release. Two Raging Stallion exclusives, François Sagat and Huessein, were nominated in the Best Newcomer Category.

Company President and nominated Best Director Chris Ward was delighted at the nominations, especially for the Best Sex Scene nod for the Huessein / François Sagat Turkish Bath pairing in Arabesque. "That scene, " Ward commented, "was just about as good as it can get! Those men are among the hottest I have ever filmed and I feel that the Turkish Bath scene is probably the high point of my directing career to date!"

With 22 nominations, Raging Stallion ranks in the top tier of nominated companies. Ward was thrilled by the recognition, commenting, "2005 was a fine vintage for gay erotica--the quality of the films released was very, very high. To be recognized as among the top studios is very rewarding to all of us."
